FLORENCE. S.C. | Flagler College defeated Young Harris College 5-1 in the quarterfinals of the 2018 Peach Belt Conference Women's Tennis Tournament Friday (April 20) morning at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.
The No. 40 Saints improved to 10-10 and advances to Saturday's (April 21) 9 a.m. semifinals against top seed Columbus State University. The No. 34 Mountain Lions fell to 12-6 and must wait until Tuesday (April 24) evening to find out if they will earn one of the four at-large berths from the Southeast region to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Currently Young Harris is ranked No. 6 in the latest NCAA regional rankings.
