FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. | Young Harris College recorded a 6-3 non-conference men's tennis victory over Emmanuel (Ga.) College Saturday (March 31) afternoon.

The No. 22-ranked Mountain Lions improved to 10-6, while the Lions fell to 6-13. Young Harris returns to action Friday (April 6) with a 1 p.m. match at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex against Auburn University at Montgomery.

The Mountain Lions took a 2-1 lead after doubles as Mateo Besada and Tim Fleerkamp took a 9-8 (8) win at No. 2 doubles. Javier Villar, Fleerkamp and Ignacio Ascarrunz claimed straight-set wins in singles to clinch the match for Young Harris.
