AIKEN, S.C. | Markus Terry scored 21 points to lead five University of South Carolina-Aiken players in double figures as the Pacers edged Young Harris College 86-81 in a Peach Belt Conference men's basketball game Saturday (Feb. 24) afternoon at the Convocation Center.

The Pacers improved to 15-11 overall and to 12-10 in the league, while the Mountain Lions ended their season at 8-20 and 7-15. The game was the final one in the careers of YHC's J.B. Charles, Angus Howey, Corey Nelson, Alex Pack and Ben Waterhouse,

The Mountain Lions got off to another quick start as they jumped out to a nine-point lead (23-14) after Zion Williams nailed a three-pointer with 10:45 left in the first half. YHC took a 42-41 lead at the half after Charles' three-pointer with 78 seconds to go.

The closest the Mountain Lions would get the rest of the way was three points as the Pacers went 4-of-4 from the free throw line in the final 53 seconds.

Brock added 19 points and six rebounds for the Pacers, while Hill recorded a double double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Ballinger and Dean each finished with 11 points.
