BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  |  Young Harris College fell to the University of Alabama at Birmingham 101-37 in a women's basketball exhibition game Saturday (Nov. 3) at Bartow Arena. 

The NCAA Division I Blazers are picked to win the Conference USA this season. Deanna Kuzmanic led all scorers with 18 points as UAB had four score in double digits. 

Pamela Diokpara scored a team-high 10 points and five rebounds for the Mountain Lions. Elle Hutchinson added eight points, three rebounds, and two steals, while Dee Dee McLane grabbed three rebounds, two steals, and one block.

The Blazers went 36-of-70 from the floor, including 54.8 percent from beyond the arc, while Young Harris went 17-of-56 from the floor and 3-of-5 at the free throw line. 

The Mountain Lions tip off the regular season Friday (Nov. 9) as they host Lees-McRae College in a 7:30 p.m. contest at the YHC Basketball Arena.
