YOUNG HARRIS, Ga.  |  Avery Jordan led the way with 14 points and Pamela Diokpara tallied 18 rebounds as the White team defeated the Purple team 42-33 in the first Young Harris women's basketball Purple-White intrasquad game Wednesday (Oct. 31) at the YHC Basketball Arena. 

Dee Dee McLane scored team high nine points for the Purple team with six rebounds, while Sarah Reid scored three points and grabbed 14 rebounds. 

Jessica Beckner tallied eight points and 12 rebounds for the White team. Haylie Shope split time between the two teams as she had four points and seven rebounds for the White team and grabbed five rebounds for the Purple team. 

Elle Hutchinson tallied seven points for the White team, while Rachel Dobbs and Grace Isakson each had six. 

Sarah Woghiren had six points and two rebounds for the Purple team. 

The Mountain Lions return to action Saturday (Nov. 3) when they travel to Birmingham, Alabama, for a noon Central time exhibition game against NCAA Division I's UAB.
