YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College held the University of Montevallo to just two points in the third quarter as the women's basketball team wrapped up their season with a 71-50 Peach Belt Conference victory over the University of Montevallo Wednesday (Feb. 24) evening at the YHC Basketball Arena.

Â
"We played the second half possessed on the defensive end," said Young Harris head coach
Matt Stearsman. "I think at one point we had 13 straight stops. Just a great team effort. I was happy for (senior) Keta (Robinette) going out like she did. Hopefully we can build on this and be a team that can compete for the PBC West next year."
Â
Young Harris, which held Montevallo to 7-of-20 shooting (35.0 percent) and forced 10 turnovers over the final 20 minutes, extended its lead to as many as 23 points (69-46) on two Bell free throws with 2:11 to play.
