YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College scored three second half goals as the Mountain Lions took a 4-1 Peach Belt Conference men's soccer victory over their cross-mountain rivals the University of North Georgia Saturday (Sept. 19) evening at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.

Young Harris won its 19th consecutive Peach Belt Conference regular season match as the two-time league champions improved to 4-1-0 overall and to 1-0-0 in the Peach Belt. The Nighthawks fell to 1-4-1 and 0-1-0. Young Harris returns to the pitch Wednesday (Sept. 23) when they travel to Aiken, South Carolina, for a 1 p.m. PBC match against the University of South Carolina Aiken.

With the score tied at 1 at the half, the Mountain Lions, who held a 16-7 advantage on shots, took the lead for good on
Jonas Sturesson's goal at the 55:25 mark. Sturresson's first goal of the year was a header that was set up on
Lewis Hilton's corner kick from the right side and pass from
Paco Craig.

The Mountain Lions added two insurance goals in a three-minute stretch to open up a 4-1 lead. Off another Hilton corner kick – one of 10 taken by the Mountain Lions - and pass from Craig,
Tom Joslin found the back of the net at the 64:25 mark for his fourth goal of 2015. Joslin then hooked up with
Piers Oldland for the final goal for the Mountain Lions a couple of minutes later. Joslin raced down the left sideline and passed the ball to Oldland in the box, who knocked it in the right corner of the net for his first goal of the season.

The Mountain Lions had taken a 1-0 lead on a
Marco Micaletto header in the eighth minute after Hilton served the ball into the box. The Nighthawks equalized the match at 1 on Eddie Hurst's blast from near midfield in the final few minutes of the half.

Jordan Bradshaw recorded four saves while Victor Ohlin and Diego Casillas combined for one stop for the Nighthawks.
