GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - Tusculum College scored the first five goals and the last five goals of the game en route to a 13-5 men's lacrosse decision over Young Harris College Saturday (April 25) afternoon at Pioneer Field.
The Pioneers improved to 5-8 while the Mountain Lions capped off their best season in the short three-year history of the program with a 9-7 ledger.
Jayden Campbell led Young Harris with three goals and one assist while Michael Gernatt added a goal and assisted on two others. Billy Magill accounted for the other goal while Mitch McDole added an assist.
Zac Barrett won 10 face-offs while Zack Hathaway and E.J. de la Torre led the Mountain Lions with four ground balls apiece. McDole, Tanner Shepherdson and Barrett each scooped up three ground balls.
Ryan Pickowitz (seven) and Sean Dever (six) combined to stop 13 shots in goal for the Mountain Lions.
