CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Young Harris College softball team split their two games on the second day of the Eckerd College Spring Invitational Saturday (Feb. 7) at the Eddie C. Moore Complex.

Nova Southeastern University used an eight-run sixth inning to defeat the Mountain Lions 11-6 in the opener while Young Harris defeated Florida Southern College in the nightcap 4-2.

Young Harris improved to 4-2 and will conclude play at the Invitational Sunday (Feb. 8) with a 9 a.m. contest against the Florida Institute of Technology.
