YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Emily Ober scored twice as Young Harris College shut out Georgia College 2-0 in a Peach Belt Conference women's soccer match Wednesday (Oct. 7) evening at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field. 
The Mountain Lions improved to 3-5-0 overall and to 1-4-0 in the Peach Belt as Young Harris registered its first win against the Bobcats in four tries. Georgia College fell to 5-4-2 and 3-3-0. Young Harris will travel to Savannah, Georgia, for a 1 p.m. PBC contest against Armstrong State University. 
Ober, who leads the team with eight goals and is tied for second in the Peach Belt, gave the Mountain Lions a 1-0 lead at the 8:35 mark. 
Sydney Baird sent the ball to the right side of the box to 
Hanna Johnsson, who passed the ball to Ober at the right post. Ober then knocked it in the right corner of the net. 
The trio hooked up again as Young Harris took a 2-0 lead seven minutes later. Baird, on a thrown in on the right side of the field, got the ball to Johnsson, who served the ball to Ober at the right post. Ober then sent the ball into the left corner of the net. 
Georgia College held a slim 11-10 lead on shots while the Mountain Lions held a 5-4 advantage on corner kicks. 
Arielle Charles, who notched her first shutout of the season, registered four saves while Ashlee Graham had three in net for the Bobcats.
