YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College scored three goals in the final 15 minutes of the match as the Mountain Lions rallied for a 3-1 Peach Belt Conference men's soccer victory over the University of Montevallo Saturday (Oct. 31) afternoon at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field on Senior Day.

The Mountain Lions clinched their third consecutive PBC title in the process and will earn the No. 1 seed in the next week's conference tournament. Young Harris, which is 13-3-0 overall and 8-1-0 in the league, will face No. 8 seed University of North Georgia at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 3) in a quarterfinal match in the Enchanted Valley. It will be the third consecutive year the cross-mountain rivals have met in the conference quarterfinals. Montevallo fell to 6-9-1 and 3-5-1 and they will earn the No. 7 seed in the upcoming tournament.

Young Harris, which outshot Montevallo 22-8, had a chance to take an early lead, but failed to convert a penalty kick. Montevallo took a 1-0 lead as they took advantage of a defensive miscue at the 53:26 mark. Anthony Birikorang broke free in the backfield and passed the ball at the top of the box to Josh Keller on his right side and Keller put it in the open net for his fifth goal of 2015.

Senior
Lewis Hilton ignited the Mountain Lion rally as his direct kick from 20 yards out on the right side curved into the upper left hand corner of the net to tie the match at 1 at the 75:03 mark. It was Hilton's seventh goal of the year. Young Harris, which outshot the Falcons 14-2 in the second half, put the match out of reach as they scored back-to-back insurance goals in a 106-second span late in the match.

Jake Simpson the box and Simpson headed the ball into the net for his sixth goal of the year.
Tom Joslin closed out the scoring as he converted a
Marco Micaletto cross from the right side. It was Joslin's sixth strike of 2015.

Jordan Bradshaw had two saves for the Mountain Lions while Yannic Horn stopped seven shots for Montevallo.
