YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College scored three second half goals as the Mountain Lions picked up a 3-0 shutout in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Peach Belt Conference Men's Soccer Tournament Tuesday (Nov. 3) evening at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.

The top seed Mountain Lions picked up their third shutout in the past four matches as they improved to 14-3-0 while the No. 8 seed North Georgia ended its season at 4-12-2. Young Harris will advance to Friday's (Nov. 6) 5 p.m. semifinal match against No. 4 seed Francis Marion University, which defeated No. 5 seed University of South Carolina Aiken 3-1 in its quarterfinal, at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Georgia.

Young Harris broke through to take a 1-0 lead at the 52:51 mark as

Marco Micaletto open on the right side of the box and Micaletto blasted the ball from 12 yards out into the upper left corner of the net. It was Micaletto's third goal of the season.

The Mountain Lions, which outshot the Nighthawks 15-6, took a 2-0 lead at the 67:42 mark when
Lewis Hilton bent a direct kick from 20 yards out into the left corner of the goal. It was Hilton's team-leading eighth goal of 2015. Young Harris closed out the scoring in the 79th minute when
Mikie Rowe scored his fifth goal of the year off a through ball in the center of the box from
Jake Simpson.

Young Harris held a 9-1 advantage on corner kicks. Young Harris'
Jordan Bradshaw recorded his fifth clean sheet of the campaign as he stopped two shots while Victor Ohlin had six saves for the Nighthawks.
