YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College picked up its second consecutive shutout as the Mountain Lions defeated Clayton State University 2-0 in a Peach Belt Conference men's soccer match Wednesday (Oct. 28) evening at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.

The Mountain Lions, who are ranked No. 4 in the latest NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Rankings, improved to 12-3-0 overall and to 7-1-0 in the conference. With the win, Young Harris clinches at least a share of its third consecutive PBC title. The Mountain Lions will go for the outright title Saturday (Oct. 31) with a 3:30 p.m. home contest against the University of Montevallo.

Young Harris, which outshot Clayton State 16-8 (12-2 on goal), took a 1-0 lead when
Lewis Hilton converted his fourth penalty kick of the season at the 21:39 mark after a hand ball in the box was whistled on a Clayton State player.

The Mountain Lions added an insurance goal in the 63rd minute when
Marco Micaletto sent in a ball to
Paco Craig in the box and he knocked it in the right corner of the net. It was his sixth goal of 2015.

Jordan Bradshaw stopped two shots in goal for the Mountain Lions as he registered his fourth shutout of the season. Viltsu Tuumi tallied 10 saves for the Lakers.
