Shlea Wright begins her second full season as the head coach of the Young Harris College cheerleading program. Wright assumed coaching duties for the Mountain Lions in January 2022.
Wright was a member of the YHC competitive cheerleading team and helped the Mountain Lions earn a silver bid the the NCA national championship in Daytona Beach, Florida, in 2019-20.
Wright, who is president of the YHC Staff Council this season, earned her bachelor's degree from Young Harris in 2020 and is currently working on her master's degree in exercise science from Concordia (Ill.) University.
