Coach Jon Krieger enters his 10th season with the Young Harris College men's soccer program. Krieger spent eight years as a volunteer assistant coach and has been promoted to assistant coach for goalkeepers since the start of the 2024 season. In 2024, the Mountain Lions men's soccer program experienced immense success, with the team sporting an overall record of 11-3-4, with a Conference Carolinas record of 8-1-2. Young Harris made it all the way to the Conference Carolinas Tournament Semifinals. Young Harris College had six players make the Conference Carolinas All-Conference team. Krieger graduated from Young Harris in 1996.
