In her first year with the Mountain Lions Staff, Chandler Davis brings a strong background in social media, storytelling, photography and sports information to Young Harris College.
A native of Alpharetta, Georgia, Davis joined Young Harris College after serving as a sports information graduate assistant at Georgia College & State University, where Davis earned a master’s degree in Management Information Systems. In that role, Davis gained experience in digital content creation, statistical reporting, social media, and game-day operations.
Prior to Georgia College, Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Southeast Missouri State University. While at Southeast Missouri State, Davis served as a senior staff writer and photographer for the university’s student newspaper, developing a strong foundation in sports journalism, photography and multimedia storytelling.
Davis also brings extensive experience as a student-athlete, playing four seasons of basketball at NCAA Division I Southeast Missouri State before competing for one season at Georgia College. That experience provides a unique perspective on the student-athlete experience and a firsthand understanding of the dedication and commitment required to compete at the collegiate level.
