Erica Shingleton

Erica Shingleton begins her third year as an assistant coach for the Young Harris College women's soccer program, She also serves as the head coach of the JV women's soccer program.

Shingleton played soccer for two seasons at Lees-McRae College as a defender and outside midfielder. The Bobcats won 25 matches during those two years and advanced to semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament both seasons.

Shingleton earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from East Tennessee State University in 2013 and her master's degree in exercise science from Appalachian State University in 2015. 
 
Prior to Young Harris, Shingleton spent two seasons coaching  with the Navarre United Futbol Club working with the U15 Boys and U12 Girls teams. The teams finished in multiple tournament finals over the two years.

Shingleton, who also was an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Mountain Lions for two seasons, has also has coached multiple summer camps over the past 10 years and did  private lessons for soccer and speed and agility for four years.
