Caleb Kelley begins his fifth season leading the Young Harris College men's and women's golf programs.

Kelley was named the interim head coach in November 2014 and was promoted to head coach in 2015 and to director of golf in 2017.

Kelley was named Peach Belt Conference Co-Coach of the Year in 2018-19.

Kelley led the men's team to a second place finish, highest finish ever, at the Peach Belt Conference Championship and earned their fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship as the No. 2 seed from the Southeast region. The team won titles at UNG Fall Invitational, the UWG Matt Dyas Invitational and Newberry College Invitational. The men's team is currently ranked 11th in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll. Kelley had two golfers named to the All-Peach Belt Conference second team and Cam Kellett named PBC Freshman of the Year

The women's team finished in fourth place at the Peach Belt Conference Championship and finished 44th in Golfstat Relative Ranking for NCAA Division II. Kelley had two golfers named to the All-PBC second team, including Emma Andersson, who was named the PBC Freshman of the Year.

The men's team, which finished in third place in the Peach Belt Conference Championship in April 2019, earned its third consecutive trip to the NCAA Division II Championship last season, finishing in 15th place at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional in Conover, North Carolina, in May.The Mountain Lions finished in the top five in six of the 10 tournaments. Young Harris, which was ranked No. 20 in the Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll,, finished in first place in four tournaments during 2017-18 season, winning the Hurricane Invitational and Bearcat Golf Classic tournaments. YHC also earned the program's first-ever PBC Team Sportsmanship Award.

The women's team finished in fourth place at the PBC Championship last season and recorded six top-10 finishes in nine events. The program earned the Peach Belt Team Sportsmanship Award for the third time in the past four seasons.

The Mountain Lions, who finished the year ranked sixth in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional rankings, No. 15 in the Golfstat NCAA Division II ratings and No. 19 in the Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll, earned their second consecutive trip to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship in 2016-17. Young Harris finished in 11th place at the South/Southeast Super Regional. 

The women's team finished in fifth place at the PBC Championship in 2016-17. Hannah Walker was named the program's first-ever PBC Freshman of the Year and the first-ever All-PBC performer.

The Mountain Lions, who finished 2015-16 ranked fifth in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional rankings and No. 36 in the Golfstat NCAA Division II ratings, earned their first-ever trip to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship. Young Harris finished in 16th place at the South/Southeast Super Regional. Kelley was lauded as the PBC Coach of the Year, while David Wallin was the team's first-ever PBC Player of the Year.

The women's team finished in fifth place at the 2015-16 PBC Championship and earned six top-10 finishes in nine events that season. The Mountain Lions earned their second PBC Team Sportsmanship Award.

Kelley led the Mountain Lion men's team to their best-ever finishes in the PBC  Championship in 2014-15 as Young Harris' interim head coach Kelley led the men to a third-place finish. The men set a new PBC Championship record as they carded a 279 in the second round.

The women's team, which shaved 37 strokes off its scoring average from 2013-14 to 2014-15, was the first-ever Young Harris program to be honored by the Peach Belt with its Team Sportsmanship Award.

Prior to taking over the golf program, Kelley served as assistant golf coach and assistant sports information director for the Mountain Lions for two seasons.

Kelley, who earned his bachelor's degree in history from Young Harris in 2012, played for the Mountain Lions for four seasons. During his playing career, the Blairsville, Georgia, native was named as a team captain and served as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
