Sara Alderman begins her second season as a graduate assistant for the Young Harris College softball team.
Alderman spent the last two years as a player for the Mountain Lions where she was named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team as a senior. She had a .317 career batting average in a Young Harris jersey with 32 hits, 23 RBI, 40 runs, eight doubles, and four home runs in 91 games.
Alderman spent her first two collegiate years at Georgia Military College where she had a .345 average with 38 hits, 19 RBI, .407 on-base percentage, .436 slugging percentage, and was named to the second team All-Conference as a freshman.Â
Alderman earned her associate's degree from Georgia Military in 2016 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from Young Harris in 2018.
Alderman earned her master's degree in applied exercise science with a concentration in fitness and health promotion from Concordia University in 2019.Â
