AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14): Ran in all seven meets … had three top-20 finishes … finished in fourth at the WWC Fighting Owl Invitational with a time of 30:26 … had a career-best time of 27:19 at the Peach Belt Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letter winner at Haysville High School for coach Jim Saltz and Zach Moss … also lettered in track and field …  earned all-conference and all-region all four years … individual state runner up as a junior ... individual state champion as a senior … named the Smoky Mountain Conference Runner of the year in 2012 … guided the Yellow Jackets to a conference championship in track as a junior.
