GREENVILLE, S.C. | Young Harris College women's soccer had six student-athletes recognized in the 2026 Conference Carolinas All-Conference selections, highlighted by one First Team selection, four Second Team honorees and one Third Team recipient. The recognition reflects another strong season for the Mountain Lions, who finished fourth in the conference standings and secured a spot in the Conference Carolinas tournament.

Leading the way for Young Harris was freshman forward Alessandra Brown, who earned First Team All-Conference honors following her performance throughout her first season. Brown recorded nine goals, four being game-winners, along three assists for 21 points to help lead the Mountain Lions offensively. She was also named the conference Freshman of the Month for September, while also earning an offensive player of the week honor.

The Second Team All-Conference nominations included Clara Allen, Charlotte Brown, Emily Jantz and Faith Niebrugge. Allen, a freshman forward, recorded seven goals along with three assists for 17 points, including three game-winning goals. Brown, a senior midfielder, recorded 11 assists to add to the Mountain Lions offensive attack, but made an impact on the defensive end as well. Jantz, a senior goalkeeper, started all 16 games, recording 49 saves and seven shutouts in the net. She also earned a conference defensive player of the week honor. Niebrugge, a senior forward, also helped anchor the Mountain Lion offense. Scoring nine goals (one game-winner) and four assists for 22 points, she played a large role in the success of the team.
