YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris College is excited to announce transformative enhancements to its soccer and lacrosse venue, positioning it as one of the premier athletic facilities in Conference Carolinas. Beginning this winter, the Mountain Lions' home will undergo major upgrades that will elevate the experience for fans, student-athletes, and media alike. 
The facility will proudly bear the name Art & Tammy Deas Stadium, honoring the generosity of Art and Tammy Deas. Complementing the stadium will be the Foster Family Press Box, a state-of-the-art addition that will redefine gameday coverage, fan experience, and hospitality at Mountain Lion soccer and lacrosse matches. 

What's Coming:
Permanent Grandstand Seating: 
A new 300-seat grandstand will provide fans with a comfortable, elevated view of the action. 
Modern Press Box: 
The press box will include: 

• A covered entertainment porch for special events 
• A VIP suite for distinguished guests 
• Two media and working rooms for sports communications 
• A private restroom upstairs 

Enhanced Fan Amenities: 

• Two multi-toilet bathrooms on the lower level 
• A covered concession area for refreshments 
• Renovated ticket booth and storage areas near the stadium entrance 

Construction on the grandstand began over winter break, with press box development following in the spring semester. The entire project is scheduled for completion by summer 2026, ushering in a new era for Mountain Lion athletics. 
A Vision for Excellence: 
This investment continues the positive recent momentum with athletic facilities at YHC, including a new turf soccer and lacrosse field, resurfaced purple tennis courts, and a new practice court at The Harp Recreation and Commencement Center. The turf renovation, completed in partnership with Sports Turf Company, introduced a high-performance system featuring an industry-leading 60 ounces of fiber for durability and top-tier playability. 
Looking Ahead: 
The timing could not be better. Young Harris College will host the Conference Carolinas Lacrosse Championships this season, showcasing some of the improvements ahead of the project's full completion.
