YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Sunny Bowlin-Stacy and the Mountain Lions had a dominant week, earning victories over Erskine on Wednesday and Shorter on Saturday. Bowlin-Stacy was unstoppable, scoring two goals in each match and adding an assist to cap off a four-goal, one-assist week. Her outstanding performance helped Young Harris secure the #5 seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament and earned her Mountain Lion of the Week honors from YHC Athletics. Sunny continued her reign, with two game-winning goals in the opening and Quarterfinal rounds of the Conference Carolinas Tournament.

Stathis Paplomatas and the Young Harris College men's soccer team picked up two dominant wins last week, defeating Erskine 6-0 and Shorter 5-1. Paplomatas played all 180 minutes, recording three saves in the shutout against Erskine and two more in the victory over Shorter. With the wins, YHC secured the No. 2 seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament. For his outstanding performances, Paplomatas was also named Mountain Lion of the Week by Young Harris College Athletics. Stathis followed up those performances with six saves in the Mountain Lions 5-0Â Quarterfinals match win.
