Browns Summit, N.C. | Your Mountain Lions have won the Conference Carolinas Tournament, knocking the Trailblazers of North Greenville University out of the running in a 3-1 victory!
Our Mountain Lions have had a successful season with a 14-1-3 overall record and an 11-1-1 conference record. They have experienced zero losses on the road and retained a five win streak until the end, earning the most in the program's history! Daniel Osorno scored the first goal 7:09 minutes into the match with an assist from Thomas Kleinpenning. In the second half, Trailblazer Ezra Hoffman tied up the match 62:51 minutes in, despite efforts, NGU did not see the back of the net again. Bjorne Renner scored in favor of the Mountain Lions assisted by Filip Zander 74:04 minutes in, and just seconds after, Zander netted his very own goal pulling YH two goals above NGU!
This historic match concludes the Mountain Lions season, as they will return home with our first ever Conference Carolinas Trophy which will be on display in The Harp Commencement and Recreation Center!

- Zander finished the night with a goal and an assist, contributing to YHC's late-match surge and earning Conference Carolinas Finals MVP.
