Young Harris, Ga. | The Mountain Lions women's soccer team took on the Trojans of Trevecca Nazarene University and when all was said and done, the Trojans came out with a 2-0 victory. One goal in each half for the Trojans was the deciding factor in Saturday (Sept. 7) afternoon's match; with both goals coming on corner kicks. Young Harris falls to 0-2 on the young season, and Trevecca Nazarene improves to 1-0. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• TNU outshot the Mountain Lions 17 (7 SOG) to eight (3 SOG). 

• Goalkeeper Mckenna Peaster recorded five saves, with four coming in the first half. 

• The Trojans had four corner kick opportunities, compared to two for Young Harris. 

• Trevecca Nazarene committed 10 fouls, while YHC committed 12. 

• Jordan Hellman and Allie Windom scored the goals for TNU. 

• Shania Harris recorded three shots with two shots on goal. 

• Morgan Kasel had the other Mountain Lions SOG.
