YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Ahead of today's home match against Erskine, the Young Harris College women's soccer team will honor the following eight seniors.

#5, DEFENDER, JUSTICE COLBURN
Justice, out of Kailua, Hawaii, has spent two seasons in the Enchanted Valley. Colburn has logged 2,055 minutes as a defender and started in 25 matches. Colburn has recorded 18 shots; with nine shots on goal, two goals and four assists for seven points, and scored one game-winning goal as a Junior. Justice was also named to the 2023 Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll.
#9, MIDFIELDER, ANNA FERRANTE
Ana, from Santo, Andre, Brazil, has been with the Mountain Lions for one season. Ferrante has played in four games this season with one start, and 154 minutes. Ferrante took six shots, with four shots on goal, recorded one goal, and two points.
#8, MIDFIELDER, SHANIA HARRIS
Shania, reigning from Portmore, Jamaica, has played in the Enchanted Valley for two seasons. Harris has logged 2,022 minutes for the Mountain Lions and started 28 of 29 matches played along the way. Shania has recorded 85 shots; with 46 shots on goal, 16 goals and 6 assists; for 38 points. Harris is also 2 for 2 on PK attempts and has two Game-Winning Goals. Shania earned Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the week, received Second Team All-Conference honors, and played for the Jamaican National Football Team. Harris etched her name in the YHC record books this season with a YHC Program record for points in a game (9) with four goals and an assist against Erskine.
#1, GOALKEEPER, KAYLIE HAYES
Kaylie, from Watkinsville, Georgia, has spent two seasons in the Enchanted Valley. Hayes has recorded over 347 minutes in goal for the Mountain Lions; logging eight games played, with two starts. Kaylie has recorded 10 saves, a Goals Average Against of 1.03, a save percentage of .714, a 2-1 win-loss record, and one birthday shutout.
#16, DEFENDER, MORGAN KASEL
Morgan, from Canton, Georgia, has been in the Enchanted Valley since 2020. Kasel, the Mountain Lions captain defender, has logged 5,670 minutes on the pitch in 65 games played, with 65 starts. Kasel has contributed 44 shots; with 28 shots on goal, and seven assists for seven points. She earned the Most Promising Freshman Scholar-Athlete Award, was named to the PBC Presidential Honor Roll three times, received the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award twice, and made the PBC Team of Academic Distinction.
#31, GOALKEEPER, MCKENNA PEASTER
Mckenna, out of Clarkesville, Georgia, has been a part of the Young Harris College women's soccer team since 2020. Peaster has played in-between the pipes for 43 matches, with 40 starts with the Mountain Lions; logging over 3,437 minutes played. Peaster has 187 saves, a Goals Against Average of 1.94, and a 0.716 save percentage. She has seven career shutouts to date. Mckenna was named to the PBC Presidential Honor Roll and earned Peach Belt Goalkeeper of the week honors as a sophomore.
#7, MIDFIELDER, CHLOE SCHMIDHUBER
Chloe, from Kitchner, Ontario, Canada, has been with the Mountain Lions women's soccer team for two seasons. The Mountain Lions midfielder has played 30 games and logged 28 starts; with 1,971 minutes spent on the pitch. Schmidhuber has fired off 45 shots with 28 shots on goal, scoring six goals, with 12 points overall.
#28, MIDFIELDER, VIC SHANAHAN
Vic, out of Marietta, Georgia, has spent three seasons in the Enchanted Valley; playing in 29 games with five starts, logging 572 minutes played. Shanahan recorded four shots, with two on goal, and has two assists for the Mountain Lions. Vic has earned a spot on the Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll twice, the PBC Team of Academic Distinction, and the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.
