YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Mountain Lions Men's Soccer team took on the Lakers of Clayton State University this evening (Oct. 15) at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field. Young Harris would drop their first game of the season tonight, falling in defeat to Clayton State by the score of 1-0.Â
QUOTING HEAD COACH DEAN GREY:
"Our lack of quality and energy in and out of possession in the first 25 minutes aided our opponents control. They took charge during this period and took advantage of it by scoring the only goal of the game. We started to take control towards the end of the first half and for the majority of the second half. We had everything but the end product. We now brush ourselves off, reflect, and use these lessons to aid us when we shift back to division play this Saturday against Erskine."
