Mountain Lions Surpass Crusaders 2-1

YOUNG HARRIS, GA. Adding to the 4-game win streak, Young Harris tops the North Greenville Crusaders 2-1 (Sept 27th). Malte Skaerbaek and Jamie Lapsley both scored in tonight's Conference Carolinas matchup to secure the win for YHC.
 
The Mountain Lions move to 5-2-1 overall and are 4-0 in Conference Carolinas, while the Crusaders move to 1-6-0 overall and are 1-2 in Conference Carolinas. YHC heads to Banner Elk to take on conference opponent Lees-McRae (Sept. 30th), at 5:30pm. 
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
  • Thomas Kleinpenning assisted Skaerbaek (12:07) to give Young Harris the early  1-0 lead.
  • Lapsley added one for the Mountain Lions, scoring a penalty kick goal (39:39). 
  • Matteo Galeotti gave life to the Crusaders' offense late, putting one in the back of the net (77:43); Leo Vasconcelos recorded the assist.
  • YHC goalkeeper Stathis Paplomatos had 3 saves, while NGU goalkeeper Michel Weber had 5.
