CENTRAL, S.C. | Alexis Scarpinato and
Shania Harris combined for six goals in YHC's 8-1 victory over Southern Wesleyan Saturday (Sept. 23) afternoon at Childs Field.
YHC improves to 4-1-3 overall and 3-0-0 in Conference Carolinas while SWU falls to 1-5-1 and 0-4-0. The Mountain Lions return to action Wednesday, September 27th with a 4 p.m. Conference Carolinas match against North Greenville at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Anita Roese scored the first Mountain Lion goal 18 minutes into the first half.
- Scarpinato scored the next two goals for YHC, her second goal scored off a PK.
- Harris added three goals for the Mountain Lions in the second half, in addition to Scarps third goal of the game scored at 67:30.
- SWU scored the lone goal of the night after the 68 minute mark.
- Chloe Schmidhuber scored the final goal for the Mountain Lions.
- McKenna Peaster recorded three saves in goal for YHC.
