ROME, Ga. | Young Harris earns a 4-2 road win over Shorter University Thursday (Aug. 31) evening. 

The Mountain Lions improve to 1-0, while the Hawks fall to 0-1. YHC returns to action Sunday, September 3rd in a 2 p.m. contest against The University of West Georgia at The YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Chloe Schmidhuber scored the first goal of the match at the 37:45 mark off a corner kick assist from Charlotte Brown.
• Brown dished out another assist into Alexis Scarpinato's path to score the second goal of the game and bring the score to 2-2.
• YHC's third goal was scored by a Shania Harris penalty kick after Tess Preston was fouled in the box.
• The Mountain Lions added a fourth goal in the 64th minute of play off a Morgan Kasel long ball to Makayla Robinson who sent the ball in the net.
