GREENVILLE, TN. | The Young Harris College women's soccer team and Tusculum University finished with an 0-0 draw after a defensive battle Wednesday (Oct. 25) afternoon at Pioneer Field. The Mountain Lions move to 9-4-4 overall and 8-3 in Conference Carolinas while the Pioneers move to 2-9-4 and 2-6-2 in the South Atlantic Conference.
The Mountain Lions return to action Saturday, October 28th when they host Belmont Abbey in a 2pm Conference Carolinas matchup. Young Harris will recognize its six seniors prior to the match.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Gracie Smith, Charlotte Brown, and Alexis Scarpinato each recorded one shot on goal.
- McKenna Peaster totaled five saves in net compared to Tusculum's three.
- Young Harris led Tusculum in corner kicks 7-5.
- The Mountain Lions and Pioneers each had 11 shots.
