No. 11 Young Harris, Limestone battle to scoreless draw

GAFFNEY, S.C. | Young Harris College and Limestone University battled to a scoreless draw in a men's soccer match Sunday (Aug. 28) afternoon at Saints Field.

The No. 11-ranked Mountain Lions improved to 0-1-1, while the Saints fell to 0-1-1. Young Harris opens its home schedule Wednesday (Aug. 31) when they host Carson-Newman University in a 5 p.m. match at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
  • The teams combined for 22 shots - 12 by Limestone and 10 by Young Harris - but only three were on target.
  • Mikkel Goeling had three shots for YHC, while Quinn Thompson, Alexsi Morel and Ben Mackay had two each.
  • Limestone had a 7-3 edge on corner kicks.
