YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The Young Harris College Department of Athletics has announced its spectator policy for the spring.

Young Harris College Athletics Spectator Policy 

In order to minimize the risk and potential exposure of COVID-19, the following spectator policy will be implemented until further notice. 

• In accordance with current Young Harris College COVID protocols, YHC will not allow outside spectators at any home athletics event.  
• Attendance at outdoor home events will be limited to current faculty, staff and students at a limited capacity.  
• All faculty, staff and students must present a YHC ID to enter the athletics facility. 
• Basketball and volleyball contests hosted in the Recreation Center will remain closed.

 
Requirements to Attend Outdoor Athletic Events 

• Must present YHC ID upon entry 
• Face coverings and social distancing are required at all times 
• Students, faculty and staff are subject to screenings and temperature checks upon entry 
• No tailgating permitted  
• No contact with student-athletes or athletics staff while at the athletics facility

• Soccer/Lacrosse Field- 100 
• Baseball- 100 
• Softball- 60 
• Tennis- 25 

 
YHC is committed to providing the safest environment for our students, staff and faculty members. We will continue to evaluate our policy in accordance with the YHC Pandemic Taskforce and public health officials.
