YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Anderson (S.C.) University recorded a 5-2 non-conference women's tennis victory over Young Harris College Sunday (March 1) afternoon at the Bob & Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
The Trojans improved to 10-3, while the Mountain Lions fell to 5-5. Young Harris returns to competition Thursday (March 5) at 3 p.m. when they travel to Cleveland, Tennessee, for a match against Lee University.
Young Harris earned the doubles point as
Carol Quevedo and
Jing Dong earned a 6-4 win in the first flight whileÂ
Ana Rodriguez and
Juli Boerr took a 6-3 victory in the second.Â
Quevedo also earned a 2-6, 7-6 (4), 1-0 (10-1) win for the Mountain Lions at No. 2 singles.
