AIKEN, S.C. | The University of South Carolina-Aiken defeated Young Harris College 7-0 in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match at the USC Aiken Tennis Complex Thursday (April 11) afternoon.

The 36th-ranked Pacers improved to 14-2 overall and 6-2 in the Peach Belt, while the Mountain Lions fell to 1-11 and 1-7. Young Harris will wrap up its season Saturday (April 13) with a 1 p.m. PBC match against No. 19 Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.

Although the Mountain Lions didn't win the doubles point, Oriana Labaqui and Ana Rodriguez teamed up to win at No. 1 doubles by a 7-5 margin. Labaqui narrowly lost 6-4, 6-4 to No. 49-ranked Elena Bompieri at No. 1 singles.
