MONTEVALLO, Ala. | Young Harris College scored a goal late in each half as the Mountain Lions recorded a 2-0 Peach Belt Conference women's soccer shutout over the University of Montevallo Wednesday (Sept. 21) afternoon at Varsity Field.
The Mountain Lions improved to 3-0-2 overall and to 2-0-0 in the league while the Falcons slipped 2-3-0 and 1-1-0. Young Harris returns to action Saturday (Sept. 24) at 1 p.m. when they host No. 19 Armstrong State University in a 1 p.m. PBC tilt at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
Young Harris took a 1-0 lead at the 40:44 mark as
