Callie Stanfield, a new addition and transfer from the University of West Georgia, has been solid all year for the Mountain Lions. In postseason crunch time, Stanfield won her singles match, which ultimately kept the season alive to even the score at 3-3, against a tough opponent in Barton College. Earlier on in the day, Stanfield contributed to the clean sweep of the Francis Marion Patriots in the opening round of the tournament. She secured a doubles victory (partnered with Andreia Semeano) 7-5, while not having to finish her singles match. Although the season has come to a close, the Purple & White are excited to return such a dominant piece to their roster in the 2025-2026 season. Â
